Praxis Ministry Academy (PMA) exists as a school of adult education, primarily for lay people, to provide foundational training in biblical and doctrinal studies, church ministry skills and leadership skills so they may be better prepared to do the “work of the ministry” (Ephesians 4:12). A PMA certificate does not confer any ministerial status.
WHY PRAXIS? ‘Praxis’ can be described as the process by which a theory is put into practice. In relation to the Christian faith, it can be about how we study and apply God’s word so we can experience greater success in our personal lives and ministry… it is to study, serve and succeed!
Benefits include:
- Study the Bible and ministry with an experienced ministry practitioner and other evangelical-minded Christians involved in church ministry
- Critically work through a selection of the quality foundational study materials produced by the Evangelical Training Association (ETA) and receive ETA credits for completed modules
- Open new doors for ministry and more advanced studies at other institutions
