‘Pioneer Evangelism’ is a popular evangelism strategy, which (in its simplest form) may be described as the act of sharing your faith with people outside of your friendship network. It offers an exciting opportunity for our ’20/20′ vision partners to fulfil a key part of the Lord’s command to ‘go and make disciples’ (Matt 28:19)- and also in the process, make friends with people in our community.

Reaching Hackney with the message (and demonstrations) of God’s love is a central part of our church’s mission and ’20/20′ vision. Pioneer Evangelism is just one of the many exciting ways we hope to achieve this. Every other week (beginning August) we will be reaching out to our community with the Christian message of God’s love – sharing with them, praying with them, laughing with them, hurting with them. We appreciate that this approach doesn’t suit everyone, but for those who are up for an adventure, get ready to boldly go where you have not gone before!
