We were delighted to welcome Pat Fitzsimons, the CEO of Hackney Foodbank, to our Harvest Service. She emphasised the remarkable work the food bank is doing to support the people of Hackney and addressed the current needs in the community. We prayed for the service and for those affected by the cost-of-living crisis.
It was good to have James from London City Mission share with us today about reaching our community with the gospel. We look forward to all God will accomplish through our renewed partnership with LCM.
In September, Hampden Chapel hosted the AoG Thames North Area Zone Day meeting. It was an inspirational meeting with uplifting praise and worship from ECCi worship team and timely messages by Area Leader Sujith Alex. It was also a great time of fellowship with other AoG leaders/churches in the London area.

Introducing Hampden Chapel’s Youth Leadership Team We recently released Samuel, Blessing and Raphael to start a youth group at Hampden Chapel. They all attended Hampden Chapel’s Praxis Ministry Academy, which was key to the launch of the youth group in the church.
