Sally Claydon is the London Development Worker for Girl’s Brigade (GB). She will be giving a brief presentation about her work with GB and how the church could get involved – possibly running its very own GB ‘company’! Sally’s work with the GB is very much at the heart of our mission to ‘Reach Renew Release’ , and so we look forward to being inspired by her presentation and time to answer any questions after the service.
Here is a bit of Sally’s testimony:
“I’ve been involved with GB and church since I was 8 years old! It was at a baptismal service that I first responded to Jesus and became a Christian. Several years later at a youth event I realised that being a Christian involved an on-going, growing, every-day relationship with God and wasn’t just a one-off event! Girls’ Brigade has been a major influence on my Christian faith and it’s been great to be a GB Team Leader at Hawkwell Baptist Church for the last 15 years.”
See you this Sunday 23 Sept, 10.30am @ The Chapel.
